ABOUT USWelcome to Typhoon Boat Works, the one company that stands alone as the maker of the most technologically advanced, high performance, reliable boats available on the market. We are known for our stable, soft riding, multi-stepped hull with 11’ beam and Carolina Flare. Our design concepts contribute to faster planning, less drag and a superior dry ride. Our boats effortlessly cut through busy bays, choppy harbors and the open sea, even at speeds in excess of 50 plus MPH. Multiple power options provide operating range up to 500 nautical miles. Given today’s high fuel prices the Typhoon, with the low drag hull, delivers fuel efficiency without sacrificing horsepower. Every Typhoon is customized to meet your individual needs. Available turn key “tournament ready” right from the factory, or “family-ready”. Take full advantage of your time out on the water, with a safe, dependable, high performance fishing boat that is good for the entire family. HISTORYBruce Boyle, founder of Typhoon Boat Works, has been in and around the Marine World for over forty-five years and has experience in boats ranging from 10’ to 200’ in length, both sail and power. Having used and operated various boats primarily “offshore”, for commercial and both active and passive recreation uses including; water skiing, fishing, diving, racing (both sail and power) and commercial use in marine salvage, marine construction, passenger ferry and barge transportation. Bruce has been involved in the design and construction of various types of vessels, including, passenger ferries, barges and various docking systems. He spent his earlier years operating race cars, speed boats, fishing boats and was also involved in marine development. He developed Liberty Landing Marina, a 680 slip, full-service marina which he designed, constructed and has operated in the New York City Harbor since 1996. This gave him exposure to heavy marine traffic which included vessels of every size. During these years he had a first-hand opportunity to evaluate various vessel designs and discover which boats were able to safely interact with the other marine traffic and turbulent waters with consistency. “Once you’ve experienced a TYPHOON, nothing else even comes close!” |
